This is not about the news
I can’t look at the news
I refuse to see it
the very fact that I am hiding from all news reports at this time concerns me – it makes me very anxious – as I like to know what is going on – usually.

Now it is too bad
It is too awful
It is horrific
And it is insane

I cannot comprehend the enormity of it, the cruelty knowingly dealt out – to an entire people – I don’t know what to do or say anymore – how could this happen in our modern, affluent, influential world – where we can change our shoes twice a day and eat three meals.

It is more than insane – but I have no words to describe this evil.

Most of us stand by helplessly in utter disbelief.
The saddest part is, we know, it has happened before – to our parents, to our grandparents – mine were in a concentration camp – the stories told made me believe people would never, ever do such a thing again – but the truth is we have never stopped.

We lost the plot once before – twice before – in fact throughout history – where the only constant seems to be recurring wars and the slaughter of as many people as possible.
Whatever wars we started have never ended.

I do not understand how people can be this way, how people can give these orders or that people willingly carry them out. I cannot believe that no one on the ground says NO! I’m not doing this, this is wrong.
Does no one have a moral compass anymore? Any compassion? Or does fear drive them too act so despicably – you may be the first to be shot as dissident if you speak out – so you close your mouth and carry out insane orders.
Is that was is happening?
Is that programming paramount?
Are we, are they, completely hypnotised – can they even see what they are doing?

Saying ‘HOW COULD YOU’ doesn’t cover it – but HOW?

The absolute worst part is, it’s not over- and it won’t be until we all change our minds, our worldview our perception, it won’t change until the ‘groundswell’ changes everything – about what it means to be a civilised human in a civilised culture – because THAT is not what we are now.

We have to change
This insanity must be cured.
