Just back from a lovely holiday

We have been driving all over France in the electric Volvo Polestar
Big, black and beautiful.
A car that works for me! Clean, quiet and roomy, perhaps a little too intelligent
– it has that ‘AI’ keenness that I find a bit disturbing.
And, yes, it is possible to find good charging stations all over France
We were a little worried we would not be able to load everywhere – but no problem there.

I didn’t mean to blog about our new car but since it’s what we drove all over France IN it seems logical to start there. This is not a sales pitch, nor is it a car review, just an observation, and a pleasant one, electric cars are here to stay, and they are good.

For the makers of the Volvo Polestar – just a note, the seats could be more comfortable and please do something about the faring. Citroen knows how, perhaps you can ask them. Only I suspect most car makers do not work together – more’s the pity – imagine how brilliant cars would be if they did!

For people thinking about moving away from the petrol world to an electric car
give it a shot, it’s worth it – go for a test run.
