Astronomical Astrology – The solstice

Happy Solstice everyone
What kind of a day is it going to be today?
Sun in Cancer and the moon in Capricorn, it’s opposite.

but there is more

One alignment to watch today is Mars – Uranus in Taurus, this has usually preceded shocks to financial systems, agriculture, and ‘land-based’ tensions.

The last exact conjunction was August 2022, when there were escalating energy crises, cyberattacks, and military unpredictability.
Sudden changes under this pattern can do damage – historically, literally and metaphorically – this is one to watch
Earlier cycles saw the 1942 nuclear bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima
and in 1855 Sevastopol siege of the Crimean War.
no to mention  the eruption of Vesuvius under this aspect in 79 CE.

This energy combines with the Jupiter – Sun trine, pointing to the revelation of surprising truths sometimes with some force, and ideas may act like wildfire – wether true or false
As we know ‘A lie runs round the world before truth has got it’s boots on.’
Take it all with a pinch of salt and check your news sources.

There will be intensifying border disputes – sadly there are many – it is a very volatile time.
People everywhere are hurting – send them love and try to help where you can.
and – as far as I know not one world leader or general reads the horoscope for the day.
I wish they would.

On top of this, due to intensified solar activity in conjunction with Jupiter we already have more seismic activity and violent volcanic eruptions ongoing.

However the solstice brings a day of perfect balance
A day of stillness – perfect for reflection
For looking to the new future we all know is possible.

So what do we do?
On the positive side it is international yoga day
and the UN has convened – so our leaders are talking

Personally – seek to be compassionate and – do not let anyone light your fuse!
be gentle with yourself, enjoying the beauty that there is all around you.
Make an effort to communicate from the heart – or simply do some yoga or meditation – which is always good
