You never know

It could be you – also it might happen – and all possibilities exist.

So what does all this jargon mean – do I have to meditate for years or think on manifestation for hours – or can I just be my bolshy bad-tempered self and mutter through my days sweeping up other people’s trash forever while grumbling about not being a millionaire yet – or famous yet or even getting paid for my writing.

Shall I sing high praises of what I don’t have or what I do have? Laugh out loud like I already do when I catch myself at this? I do a lot, I enjoy a lot, but that’s just things.

I have brilliant conversations with my brilliant friends. I have a great disorganised family, a lovely chaotic home; I could meditate on that – as it’s already manifest.

Do I need to worry about my diet, my weight, my figure, my looks and starve myself in the process – I think this has got to be a plant from outside of my true nature – I’m sure of it. Is my home clean enough, tidy enough, beautiful enough, am I wearing the right clothes, has my make up run – again? Are all women absorbed by these worries?

And the men aren’t spared either – I’m sure of it – I still see most of them – working forty-hour weeks to get ahead, chasing the next promotion, buying stuff they later find out they didn’t really want, the wrong trainers, the stupid car, those shady shades. Always measuring themselves against some career ladder, or success ladder that was never theirs to climb in the first place – who’s idea was that anyway?

We’re all caught in it, one way or another – we all want the millions, we all want the abstract, we all want that concept – we all know it’s a lie.

Do I want this? Or do I just enjoy walking under the shady trees in silence as I hear birdsong filtering down out of the green without a thought on manifestation, of wanting, of needing – it’s just there – it’s just what is – how does this work? This is al.so true – this is also real, more real even.

It’s never either/or – life is too complex, too faceted, too multidimensional for that – like an ever-unfolding fractal or the ever-expanding universe.

I’m not going to bust a gut trying to force some abstract concept – that probably wasn’t my idea in the first place – I’d rather enjoy being here now, as this is the only thing we have – being here now.

This is not a new concept: all the gurus and philosophers and meditators and even some quite ordinary people have been saying this forever. They said it yesterday, last year, a century ago and surely over three thousand years ago also said it. I’m convinced we will find it written on a cave wall somewhere in time too, or we already have and are waiting for the translation.

Still, you never know –

It’s trying to force it all – and twist yourself out of shape trying to make it all happen that is painful and hard and annoying – because that really is not the way.

Let the question exist, ‘what if’ or ‘how come’ – or ‘it might happen’ or ‘we might be’ or even ‘who could it be?’

The ‘what if’ – the leaving it as a question is the right attitude – that is the mode of thought – of mind, that allows the possible to exist

The possibility of those millions may be in another dimension far away from you, making it, for you, impossible right now, of course – (which is ‘sod’s law’ but that’s another blog) – but you never know! It could be you, here. now.

You never know

There’s no telling – the manifestation you bust a gut for – might just be blooming somewhere waiting for you to discover it – the meditation may have cleared your mind enough to allow you to see it, find it, know it – your laughter could be just the thing to crystallise it into reality – enjoying your walk in the forest is possibly the key to your entire world of manifestation. While you are there – think on what you just manifested: the forest, the birdsong, the fresh air, enjoyment, laughter – isn’t that worth millions? Isn’t that multifaceted? See what you already did! And dream on – in pleasure with what you like to think, feel, dream about it all because –

You never know
